Directions: From Blackduck

1. Deeper Life Bible Camp is located just outside of Blackduck, Minnesota
2. When you get to Blackduck on Highway 71, turn west at the convenience store onto County Road 30 (the Lake Road).
3. Go about a mile and a half, then turn right at Blackduck Golf Course.
4. DLBC is about one mile, on your left.

History

Deeper Life Bible Camp became a reality when a local Christian business man demonstrated his BURDEN for the salvation of souls.   He had the spiritual vision of seeing a Bible camp in northern Minnesota.  His precious commitment and dedication to His Lord saw to giving back to the Lord,  thus,  this camp ground.  DLBC was born out of need for providing a place where individuals could find Christ as their Savior,  find God’s place for them to serve,  and provide a time and place for churches to fellowship and serve.  Individuals from four Evangelical Free Churches starting meeting four times a year for fellowship.  One pastor asked, “Do we need a camp?”  They all agreed,  to which he responded,   “If we need a camp,  the Lord will supply.”   DLBC became a blessed reality with August 16 – 23,  1941,  being the first full week of camp.  God truly met them there and proved His Word.   “Draw nigh unto God and He will draw nigh unto you.”  Many folks believe that all need a time to draw apart from the surrounding things of life to rest in the quietness before our Lord.  Over the years God has provided and supplied all DLBC’s needs.  Over sixty-seven years,   DLBC has grown to six weeks plus two weekend sessions.  May this gift never be forgotten as lives continue to be changed because of one man’s vision.
